We love this seat and have used all of the features. It is a little bulky/heavy, but my daughter finds it very comfortable. Cup holder is a great spot on this one. We also use two other eddie bauer seats. I like this one as her 'permanent' seat in my Jeep commander, but it wouldn't fit in my husband's passat. We have a lighter weight slimmer E. Bauer for in there. My MIL also has a convertable (3-in-1) that is the granite one and it's a little lighter weight and fits in her Jetta well. I recommend all 3, but wouldn't get this one unless you have a bigger SUV or minivan..

My daughter is 15 months and just barely 20 lbs. I got this seat when she became too long for the infant carrier. Both of my boys had earlier models and we loved the seats, using them until switching to backless at about 4. Changes have made this one a little less appealing. She seems comfortable enough but there are many cons.
In rf position, the front passenger of my 2005 Ford Freestar minivan must have their knees touching the glovebox. (REALLY far recline position)
The tightening strap was made too wide, does not pull through the slot with ease, and is fraying after only a couple months of use. It is very difficult to tighten properly. I have gotten use to it, but having anyone else use the seat has proven to be a pain.

We bought this for my youngest daughter once we realized her older seat had expired. I wouldn't have made a different purchase if I could have. For the price, this is a FANTASTIC seat.

We bought this because it is a convertible car seat. It was fine during short drives in and around town. When we went out of town for a 2 hour drive, our 3 year old cried half of the way complaining about the car seat hurting her back. We took this car seat back to Target and got a Britax instead. I don't recommend this carseat if you are going on a long trip.
